As a branch of Philosophy, the objective of this course is to provide knowledge about foundations, methods and implications of science. Upon completion, students should be able to select a topic, gather research material, prepare analytical tools, and write down the results of a study in the field of management science. In addition to understanding the process of planning the research, students are expected to be able to use the methods of processing and analysis of data, either through quantitative and qualitative research methods. This course discusses the basics of research; data collection methods, including sampling techniques; the concept of measurement, including an understanding of the validity and reliability; design studies, including examples of its application; analytical methods of research results; and the introduction of qualitative research methods.
